Have you ever? I think i have once or......

...twice, how about you? Now i won't go see a movie in the theatre unless it looks really good. If you rent from redbox at least you can fast forward the movie or you can just stop watching it, but a theatre many times you have to sit through a bad movie

No im not a bitch.
This is my signature, there are many others like it, but this one is mine.
If you take 110% of what I say seriously then you're gonna have a bad time.
To this day I regret not walking out of whatever Transformers movie had the dinosaurs. The second 300 movie was almost bad enough to warrant it too but it got really funny part way through.

No. I'm pretty sure people brag about that while polishing their monocles more often than they actually do it. And I'd imagine most people, when they do walk out, it's because they found the movie offensive, or maybe a family emergency and they need to leave even if they liked the movie, not just because they didn't like the movie.
Who's your favorite character from "Bend It Like Beckham"? And you can't say Beckham.
I went to the cinema for the first time in over 5 years last month and seeing the price of the tickets i doubt id ever walk out early.
Never. I have fallen asleep during a movie though, that movie was M. Nights Avatar. My friend wanted to see the midnight showing and the projector was fucked up so the movie started at 12:30am. I've never had the desire to rematch the movie.

Once. I didn't ask for my money back, but that's not what I regret. What I regret is not seeking hypnotherapy to erase those 45 minutes from my memory.

Just walk out earlier, before even buying the ticket.
Never walked out, but I fell asleep twice. The first time was during The Mummy and I honestly don't even remember the other one haha

To be fair, I remember being really tired those days.
I took a date to see "The Artist," not really knowing what it was about, other than its title. My date is an artsy person, and the movie we were originally going to see was sold out, so we settled on that instead.

Well, it turned out to be a silent movie.

I wasn't enjoying it, but was willing to stick it out because my date seemed to be enjoying it (though, it's a movie theater, so I couldn't exactly tell).

Then she poked me and was like "can we go?" So she was totally not about it. So we left.

No, because I don't go see bad movies. Unless a girl wants to go then I stay for her.
Yep, walked out of epic movie. It was ridiculously bad, i never walked put of another movie besides that one.

Only time I ever walked out of a film was at a festival and the film we chose to see just because we didn't have anything else to do. It was just a shitty low budget horror film. So no nothing I paid directly to see, I do my best to not see bad movies in the theater.

I saw probably 75-100 in the theater last year (not counting stuff at film festivals) and the only ones I would say without a doubt are bad are Suicide Squad, Alice Through the Looking Glass and The BFG (also saw Hands of Stone, Train to Busan, and Coming Through the Rye in a theater but all were at festivals and all were bad)
Only one: Girl, Interrupted . Friend and I walked out after about 15 minutes. Movie suuuuucked.

I've fallen asleep at plenty of movies, though.

I walked out of the first Michael Bay Transformers. What an unbelievable pile of shit.
I have a signature. Apparently this is important, but I still don't have my secret cool kid decoder ring yet.
Yes but only once.
I walked out of D wars and went to see 3:10 to Yuma instead.
Great decision.
Never... but "Wing Commander" really pushed it.
No.

But I've never paid to see a bad movie in the theaters either. I only go to the theater for movies I know I'll enjoy. Anything that seems a little iffy gets a cheap rental once it gets released on dvd/streaming.

I've never walked out of a movie I paid to see, because I usually refuse to pay for movies in the first place unless I have a pretty good idea what to expect.

I did almost walk out of a movie that I got in to see for free, but I still mostly forced myself to stay and just resent everyone involved with making it.

That's why you don't ask for your money back, you just sneak into a different theater and watch a different movie instead.

That's assuming you're at a multiplex, of course, but at this point I'm not sure there's a lot of single-screen theaters left anywhere anyway.

I haven't walked out of any film. I fell asleep during two or three, one of which being Apollo 13. The closest I've come to wanting to walk out was during the Perfect Storm since it's like 25 minutes of character building then 60 minutes of disaster where everybody dies anyway .

I very rarely go to movie theaters and, if I'm paying to see something, it's going to be something I feel pretty strongly about. Or, in some cases, it's kind of a "movie bucks" promo with a DVD where I like the movie and it would give me credit towards a ticket for something I do want to see. I picked up a copy of TDK to see TDKR, for instance.

Whaaaaaaaaat? While I wouldn't call it a fantastic film, it was okay.

I regret not demanding a refund or compensation when there was a fire drill during a film which caused me to miss about ten minutes.

Yeah, I'm very selective over what I pay to see and, in general, there's usually not all that much I'm really excited about seeing anyway.

I walked out of the second Michael Bay Transformers.
Yeah I walked out of The Blair Witch Project because I was literally bored off my fucking ass. I had to get off my ass and leave. I managed to get a refund.
This album is not available to the public.
Even if it were, you wouldn't wanna listen to it!
No. I had an epileptic fit in one of the movies that resulted in them having to carry me out into an ambulance, but that wasn't 'walking out'.

Avatar, too long too boring..
Once and once only. I'm too poor to go to the cinema if I expect anything other than to be able to sit through 90% of something!

It was Pitch Perfect 2 , FWIW.

I loved the first Pitch Perfect when I decided to stream it from APV, which is why I went to see the second in the cinema, but the second... oh good lord that film was horrendous. So painfully constant on the whole "Americans rule, Americans are the best at everything even when they're crap at it" theme, and the movie itself was just so unfunny. I kept cringing, and cringeworthy films are just not my idea of entertainment. I think I walked out even before the halfway mark, which is something I've never done before or since.

I do admit to having fallen asleep before the end of the first Hobbit movie, though, which I regretted afterwards because I missed the super-shippy scene Jackson threw in for the pair I've 'shipped since I was 8 years old =P

I first saw it on a long car ride when headed on vacation which, in retrospect, is about the perfect way to see it, particularly given how quickly it goes downhill the second they enter the woods.

Nope. I was annoyed and unfocused when I watched Watchmen though. It was a late showing, maybe the last of the night and they never turned the fucking lights off. I was distracted the whole time.
Yeah I was watching Punisher War Zone and the movie was a total turd along with being gross so I walked up to the guest services desk and had them exchange my tickets for Quantum of Solace which I enjoyed

No way. You can get just as much from a bad movie as a good one if you're actively engaging with it.

Yes, and they gave me a refund for it, granted, the movie itself wasn't terrible (finding nemo) but their system was glitching out a lot, losing audio and video frequently, so they refunded us hoping that we'd come another time.
Never. Even mediocre movies are watchable with the theater experience. I don't think I've ever watched a movie I would consider bad at the theaters.
Many times in the past but I usually don't see a movie in the theater anymore unless I know I'm gonna like it.

But yeah, if i'm bored, I leave.

No, but I did come out of some movies thinking "wow, that was a shit show" and wishing I had never spent the money for a ticket.

Only once during the movie Ultraviolet. It was so fake even Milla couldn't save it. She sold the ticket.
