Flauros posted... Its almost like people dont want to wok a job that has shit pay/hours/and benefits, where you are told to be a slave to the customers every whim and a 10 cent yearly raise is considered generous.
On top of that, when people start to drop out or labor cuts are made daily, the burden is shifted onto the people who remain. This makes them fizzle out and leave as well.
For too long fast food places have had it too easy. The "cater to the customers and tell your employees to suck it" approach can only take them so far.
Literally the opposite at a lot of places near me. Minimum wage here is like $8 an hour and I'm working at Mcdonalds making $14/hr now. Just due to the company giving prices raises and most other fast food chains near us are paying at least 10-12$ an hour as well, and people still just don't want to work. Tons of both kids and adults coming in acting entitled like they don't have to actually do anything at a job then wonder why they get yelled at or fired or end up getting frustrated due to having to do their job and quit.
