It's touching, but at the same time hardly villainous given that's it's basically a misguided pep talk.I've only now realised that this isn't contextually apparent (and might be ambiguous in the show itself, don't remember) but I interpret the line "get rid of it all" as referring to destroying Earth and exterminating all life on/from it.
