Rather than defeating monsters (something we know he can do with absolute ease), the actual challenge he faces is to "defeat" cooler heroes and advance the ranks in coolness.
dunno why people are shitting on this because this is actually pretty accurate.
also as others have said: the side characters made the show 10x better. much more interesting than saitama (tho i recognize the creators intended for saitama to be boring by comparison)
