I noticed the positive case rate has been HUGELY up the past week or two to a RIDICULOUS amount, but the amount of deaths has been constant the entire time, even when the case rate was much lower. Is that because they are testing more, or because it takes a couple weeks for the death rate to spike after the positive test rate spikes?Averaging death rates lag 2-3 weeks behind as that how long an average hospital stay with covid is.
