Update:

I didn't get to say a proper goodbye, they put her to sleep last night. I must've misheard my mom it was a pretty emotional situation and it was in Spanish and mines a little rusty. The last thing I said to my pooch was "I love you" as my mom was heading out the door with her but I was about 15 feet away in the kitchen, I kinda yelled it and I just pray she heard me. I loved her so much.

I was so blindsided. We originally thought it was some sort of flu, then doctors did an entire work up and found it was aggressive cancer and that there was organ failure. I was totally expecting to see her again and for her to walk back through the door. Now shes gone.

I'm going to lose a very good friend
