Sure, but Metroid games are notoriously rare. The fact that the one fan-hyping title that Nintendo has announced in the past 9 years, in a subseries that occurs in the interim between mainline Metroid titles, took so long that they released a new title in the mainline series? The first sequel in 19 years, compared to the first sequel in 14/5 years (if you count Federation Force as an installment in the Metroid franchise)? That's pretty wild.
I'm just glad we are getting two Metroid games period. This reminds me of the early 2000's when we got Metroid Prime and Metroid Fusion around the same time. Double the hype.

Now we can enjoy Metroid 5 while still looking forward to Metroid Prime 4 hopefully in the next year or two.
