My wife got some free tickets through her job last year. We went and it was horrible. Not necessarily the circus itself, the circus acts were fine. But everyone there was under the age of 12. It's all children and their uncaring parents. They're jumping all over the seats and screaming and crying.

And you could tell from the clowns and the acts that they are basically glorified babysitters. It's really sad. Especially cause a lot of them were really talented.

I'm sure it's different if you go to cirque du soleil, but this was your typical, travel from city to city circus.
