We watched some Mr. Bean episodes after dinner at my uncles house yesterday.
While watching, I noticed some scenes were cut/altered. I own the Whole Bean dvd set, and the scenes are missing there too, now that I think of it. When the series was on American Netflix, it was the same story. I know these missing scenes exist because I have a couple episodes recorded on vhs dating back to the 90s.
These are in the episode where he drives the car while sitting on a chair on the roof, Do-It-Yourself, Mr. Bean. When hes cutting his wall to move it, they cut out the part where he decapitates the picture of Princess Diana, which I get even if Im not thrilled with the originals being altered, but they also cut the entire scene where he sabotages the chair that he wants when the old couple is looking to buy it.
I dont have as many episodes recorded from back in the day, so does anyone know of any other episodes that have been changed?
Is there any release with the full episodes? I ebayed Mr. Bean vhs, so it looks like there is a release from the time period the episodes aired.
