And this is the author's own fault.
He was given time for a "final arc" but he fucking stretched it over 3 years when the usual was half to one year.
I wouldn't be surprised if the editors said: "end this now or I'll pull the plug myself and your manga will have the notoriety as one of the mangas that ends out of nowhere."
And youd be wrong.
Kubos health had declined during the final arc and he rushed the ending because he tore his shoulder.
