Kinda pissed off because as soon as I put the steak on the cutting board to let it rest, the fucking board and steak slid off the shelf and onto the ground as I was closing the grill air doors. Guess I will try again tomorrow and find some fast food tonight.
I was cooking Buldak for lunch and when I went to toss the noodles in the strainer to help free the moisture better I accidentally tossed the whole batch into the sink. It's just ramen so not as big a deal as losing steak, but I understand your pain to a level.
And yeah Pepin seems to put Anchovy in a ton of dishes. I assume it's some sort of umami bomb ingredient. Whatever it does it works magic.
