Yeah, really.

In my experience hotel room towels are usually great. They've been washed probably thousands of times so all the chemical treatments and dyes, etc.. that are used to keep them dry during shipping are long gone. They have also been washed enough times to no longer be prone to shedding.

I wish it was feasible to use micro fiber towels because they do a great job of drying and don't shed but I don't know if you are even supposed to wash those and how much they would degrade if you did.
