It is, but bail bondsmen will put up the money if you pay them 10%. You get bail back once you show up to trial, its only to make sure you go. So the bondsman makes your 10% he keeps and gets back the rest from the court.oh so that cop will not get his 75k back? if he raised the whole 750k by himself then he would get it all back?
