I had Android flagships for 6 years before switching to iphone in 2014 and I haven't gone back. There were a lot of differences between the platforms in the early 2010s, but now not so much, and iphones are the only phones that I've been able to keep for a full 2 years and still have them last most or all of the day with little noticeable slowdown. I miss the idea of Android (open, customizable), but in real-world use I hardly ever did the cool things that weren't in iphones...I guess it depends what your everyday use is like.
