You can learn how to be funny
Start by detaching yourself from situations and just watch people and their reactions
You can learn a lot about what to say and what not to say, and what you can get away with saying, and what you can't
The first two give you a pleasant baseline and the second two are keys to being funny. Then you just need to figure out what to joke around about, and context is key
I've also heard being louder is one key to having a personality, so that's a much easier instant hack
