Then dont let the kids play online. Its profanity. They will be exposed to it eventually.
But this is getting away from why nintendo doesn't want to do it. It's not really about protecting society, it's about protecting their own image. They want to maintain the squeeky clean image that makes them appealing to everyone, not just gamers.
By not making online more accessible they are making themselves unappealing. Thats the point Im trying to make.
