The internet has changed since this sites heyday one of the biggest ways is people dont really go to websites anymore, they just go to the small handful of algorithm-based infinite-scroll social media.
Makes me think anybody still here is a real old head. Me Im 28, had accounts here since I was a UAU lol (got banned for it once because I said I was 12, duh!)
Anyway I feel like we should be proud to be here! I think its cool that we are still using a forum like this. Its real vintage and its frankly superior to Reddit which is completely anti-discussion.
I miss the old days of making clans for Wii games. I was in the Smash Online Knights (SOK) when Brawl came out, and we were strong for about 6 or 7 months! We even had a separate website of our own on forumcircle and I made some good if temporary friends in the chat room there.
Well I guess todays trends are similar. Theyve got discord. I never really got into it but I bet Id have had fun going through my teen years making friends on that platform.
