I used to use MoviePass like a year ago and really liked it.
They kept fucking around and changing the way it worked, though, and now it's this amalgamation with all kinds of specific rules, and certain showtimes aren't acceptable, and certain movies are blacked out, and it's like, you know what? Fuck it.
Either give me unlimited movies for $10 or fuck off. That's the service I bought in, that's what I want. There are no conditions that will win me back as a consumer.
I'm doing my local movie theater's "Movie Pass esque" deal thing now and while it's marginally more expensive, it's exponentially less frustrating.
