DS version is still very good because of how well the game was designed for it. Some of the bosses use the dual screens in cool ways, and none of the other versions manage to capture that. I would say the gameplay is overall the best and deepest on DS, but I most enjoyed my time with the Switch version. I played it entirely in handheld mode with a stylus (it's still definitely a touch screen game) and while the game was easier, I still had a lot of fun with it. The expanded OST and other gameplay enhancements ultimately make me prefer that one the most.

Overall I'd say it comes down to what you're looking for the most, but the game is so great that you can't go wrong with any version really.
