Deputy assistant secretaries at Cabinet agencies are typically low level positions that doesn't need senate confirmation but images of Brinton has already caught the eye of anti-lgbt criticism who say it is a JOKE that they are in a position of power.
Brinton has a Masters from MIT and is working towards solving the world's nuclear waste challenges and protecting LGBTQ Youth from Conservsion Therapy
They currently work as a director of global political strategy of Deep Isolation, a nuclear waste disposal company as well as The Trevor Project
They are unapologetic about LGBTQ+ rights and has a history of promoting sexual fetishes and kinks related to animal role play and gave a talk on kink exploration at Rnsselaer Polytechnic Institute where they teach you how to safely CHOKE one's partner.
