When the dust settles I'm fairly confident Greta will be a net loss for climate change.
She's sailing around the world calling out everyone for "not doing enough" without any regard for the fact she might be making the situation worse. She said some shit about Trudeau and then immediately his polling numbers dropped a bit. I don't think it ended up having any effect on the final election outcome, but Greta is careless and dangerous in an era where the pendulum is swinging back to climate change denying governments across the world. This is not the time to convince swing voters to throw their vote away for a third party climate candidate, and she is mobilizing the climate denial voter base because of their irrational hatred of her.
