I liked TFA because it was the setup movie. I felt like things would only get better.
Instead it ended up being like many failed TV shows that start out great for the pilot (TFA) and fall apart by the second episode.
Anyone who watched TFA without rose colored glasses knew TLJ would suck. TFA had SO many issues, inconsistencies, and already began deconstructing the pre-established lore.
Everyone should have been disappointed in TLJ but I truly question the sanity of anyone who was actually
surprised by how bad it was.
