Rika_Furude posted... microsoft doesnt allow apps to be sold cut-less on the windows store. Allowing side loading on iOS devices is a separate argument. And really, epic could just move to android since they allow side loading. This is a private business discussion that Epic is trying to bring to court for no legitimate reason. Just greed
Right. And Apple and Google should get a cut of the apps they sell on their stores, but also open their systems to outside apps. The Apple store should be a curated list of reputable apps that follow strict guidelines, a place you hope to trust.
I don't see the argument for changing the monetization scheme, though. If anything, removing the cut from in-app purchases increases incentive for micro-transactions.
