There are ads hiding all over Windows 10. Type anything into the search bar and you'll see apps you can download, OneDrive constantly tries to insert itself into your life, Cortana can obviously suggest different apps, and the system notifications can show ads.
Obviously some of this can be turned off, but the fact that your OS tracks you and displays ads is disgusting in itself.
