Doom Eternal (PC)Holy shit this game reinvigorated my love of FPS games. So well designed in that every weapon and ability has a specific use and it keeps you switching between everything on the fly.
You can ignore all that and still enjoy it, but I can't imagine getting through the harder difficulties without optimizing your strategy.
Also anyone that can beat this with a controller has my respect.
I've never played a game where I feel like I have to take a break after every level or two to just kind of decompress and cool down.
