compare 80s thundercats to thundercats go to the early 2000s thundercats;
comparing unfavorably to a cartoon from 40 years ago is bad enough (how would you compare an appliance, a car or a computer from 1985 to one from today?) but look at how pathetic it looks compared to the 2000s one
The art styles weren't great either and they were terrible in practice. The tone of the show changed presumably, and so the character design changed with it. There's nothing pathetic about it, it's just different.
BTAS is very different from He-Man or GI Joe or something else from that era. It's about when the transition started to actually looking good.
