I shower 1-2 times a day and have no issues.

Hair stylists often complement my hair like I do something special. Hell, the infrequent times I touch peoples hands (other than my wifes) they usually say something like, Not to sound weird but you have really soft hands...you use lotion a lot!? I use the 3-in-1 shampoo/con/bodywash stuff and thats it, I never use lotion or skin-care products.
