I really liked the character designs and characters themselves for the most part. Its too bad most of them end up dead or sidelined at the end. Imagine if all the eikon users joined your party one by one and you had a traditional party like past Final Fantasy games.
Also I think Im in the minority but I disliked eikon battles. Always groaned when one started with the worst one being Titan. They feel slow and drag on. Not terrible but glad they werent that many of them.
All that being said I really did love the music, combat, and characters. 8/10 seems fair but Id give it a point higher for personal enjoyment.
