I've already said that if they (the majority) don't want to use it, then they don't need to. idk why I should have to repeat that.

they might never want or need to, and I've acknowledged that.

my initial, and main, point was how just because the majority is against something, it doesn't invalidate the minority view.

if the minority is never able to make the change that want to make mainstream, it's also something they have to accept.

it doesn't mean they need to stop trying, though, or that current trends need to dictate the future.
