None of them have last names. In fact, one of the reasons that you hear the name Son Goku so much in the manga and Japanese version is because Son Goku, Son Gohan, Son Goten are some of the very very few characters that have surnames.
Mr. Satan for example.
His name isn't Mark Satan. His name is Mark, just Mark, and his stage name/gimmick is Mr. Satan.
So how do we know Vegeta's family is actually royal blood with a dynastic tree and not just some common pretenders?

The strongest rule on Planet Vegeta/Plant. In fact, the term VEGETA itself is apparently a Title, not a name.
It is a family lineage, but only as long as that family is strongest. King Vegeta was strongest on Vegeta, same as Bardock after Zenkai, but admittedly Bardock got his zenkai at the last day of the planet, so not like that would matter. And that was of adults mind you. Vegeta was already stronger than his Father. Hence he would have remained in charge, as strongest on planet. Who knows about his son. Trunks was a tailless hybrid, which had virtual unlimited potential. If Vegeta doens't explode, that doesn't happen, so who knows how strong his son/daughter would have been, they easily could have been overthrown.
But if Vegeta is a title that goes to the strongest shouldn't Vegeta give it to Goku when he finally admits Goku is stronger?
I mean, it wouldn't really work in this case.
No one else except Vegeta uses Goku's Saiyan name. Everyone else would still call him Goku. He could call him Vegeta, instead of Kakarot/to but again, no one else would. And the other problem, Vegeta doesn't know his true name. If he even had one. It's possible he was so strong from birth (literally stronger than his father as a toddler) that he was instantly deemed worthy of the Title Vegeta, and was never given a birth name.
