So many Wild Pokmon are coming in that the city has to set up an increasing amount of Wild Zones to contain them. Imagine you have a business, and then one day, you find out that your business is now within a Wild Zone. Many of the Wild Pokmon are aggressive, and these Wild Areas also include powerful Alpha Pokmon who attack people on-sight. Hell, the damn cemetery is a Wild Zone, so you can't even visit the grave of a departed loved one without being accosted by Ghost-types and an (guaranteed) Alpha Spinarak.

And despite the city's efforts to keep the Pokmon contained within the Wild Zones, some of them still get out and are wandering over the city and even on the rooftops. Including the aforementioned Alpha Pokemon who, again, attack on-sight.

And then at night, a random part of the city is designated as a Battle Zone, where Trainers duke it out all night until morning. Imagine you're trying to sleep, only for an intense battle to be going on outside, or even, the Trainers are on your roof, and one of them orders their Pokmon to use Earthquake or Dig.

And then, there's all sorts of clutter all over the place, such as Mega Crystals, boulders, and scaffolding even in the middle of streets.

No wonder Professor Sycamore high-tailed it out of there.

I like how it becomes The Purge every night.

Reminds me of memes I've been seeing of clips of people's houses caving in or being destroyed before it cuts to gameplay footage of battles taking place on the roofs of buildings. Like the Aunt May praying scene from Spider-Man 1.
