Old topic purged. Im at the end of the game. Like literally the end. Im on the final chapter. Ive completed the Fell Xenologue, all Divine Paralogues, and all regular paralogues. My units are grossly overpowered lol. I have a feeling Sombron is going to get destroyed. Looking forward to finishing this shit after work so I can get back to some other games.

Ive been trying to use units I didnt use my first playthrough. I had no idea Kagetsu is such a monster. He admittedly needs a couple levels to get going, but his growths are great and once he gets rolling its a snowball effect. Give him speedtaker from Lyn and Alacrity++ and hes unkillable. He, Louis, Diamant, and Rosado are my heavy hitters

Finished my playthrough last night. Overall I think I enjoyed it more than my first run when the game came out. I just remembered the game being a bit of a slog in some areas, but I didnt really feel that this time. I think the dlc emblems definitely increase the fun as they open up a ton of new strategy options.

As for the dlc units. meh. I only used Zelestia. The rest seemed underwhelming and the FX as a whole was just not good imo. The maps were not well designed and the story is ass.

With all that said, I think I still prefer Three Houses to this game, if were just talking switch FE games. While Engage probably has tighter gameplay and better map design for the most part, I enjoy 3Hs setting, story, and characters way more. I also really like the social sim stuff, but Im a Persona fanboy so that explains that.

I still had a lot of fun with this playthrough. Im sure Ill replay it again some day
