I need to get back into this game.... I'm at the "final" dungeon right after you get the ability to fly. I actually used that EXACT party except I changed my Thief and Merchant into a Warrior and Sage I think. I kept the Monster Wrangler because I'm about to learn a ice attack skill and I haven't decided on when to do a class change. I haven't played since the beginning of the year and the Monster Wrangler is a little OP unless they nerfed the class, which wouldn't surprise me. I'm playing on hard mode and the regular encounters are fine but the bosses are no joke. I was a little annoyed about how they let you save everywhere with autosaves but you still actually need to plan to kill some of the bosses. ... Copied to Clipboard!

rwbonesy posted... problem with that party is no really viable heals for some time except hero Monster Wrangler has a small AOE heal and a single target heal for 50HP. That will get you through the early game. Mid to late game you'll probably have a Sage. Another side effect of the decision to make autosaves and quicksaves in dungeons means you don't really need a dedicated healer like you used to. If you get an unlucky crit just reload. It's just the way game design is now, I guess. ... Copied to Clipboard!
