The year after that they hit us with a ridiculous $255 a month increase. They were $500 back then and $725 now. I should sit down with finance manager and see what options are to make sure that my monthly payments don't explode on me. I'm paying a relatively modest $935 a month on the mortgage and just shy of $2,000 a year on property taxes.
