Note, sword and board means any one handed weapon, not just a sword and dual wielding doesn't have to be 2 of the same weapon, could be mix matched.

I used to always go for dual wielding, but these days 2 handed is usually my go to with weapon and shield being next. And even then, if W&S has flash to it and isnt just for tanking set-ups, I might even go that over 2H.

I used to be a Sword and Board guy, but 2-handing a big ol bonker has been my go to for years now, since about mid-way through my first playthrough of Dark Souls over 10 years ago. Haven't looked back since.

Regardless I'm going S&B. Shields are a gigantic advantage when fight against other weapons.

I fucking hate shields and tanking, two handers are often too slow. Duel wielding is fast paced and often more powerful in games.

Dual wielding is probably what has the highest ceiling in terms of looking cool but i prefer 2 handed in general.

Dont care for shields at all personally.

Usually this is a *looks at username* sort of situation, but I have two thirds of the options in there.

It's dual-wielding. I rarely like shields, two-handers need to be satisfying before I'll use them.

But also I like DW for statsticks. In KotOR II, I'd always play Consular - Sith Lord, and I'd always DW so that I could add a bunch of crystals to improve my defense and powers, then basically ignore them as lightsabers and just zap everyone to death.
