The reason democrat threads than Trump threads is because everyone agrees that what trump is doing is bad so there is less discussion, however half this board wants to defend the dems when they are attacked when these topics come up so there is back and forth

This has been pointed out numerous times how do you people keep forgetting these things and continue making the same tired comments

People are still mad at people who whined about Gaza and attacked only Biden and later Harris despite Trump obviously being worse for Gaza + people in Gaza said to vote for Harris. Really sad places like Dearborn couldn't understand it. It is regretful so many people voted against their own interests.

I have never seen you attack Republicans, not even with 1% as much energy as you spend hating democrats who you claim can not be hated enougth.

I'll be honest, these topics interest me more because there is actual discussion.

Because when I post in a trump topic, either I make my comment and that's pretty much the end of it, or some weirdo responds telling me how much I love whatever trump is doing or that I helped get him elected or whatever.

I think you misunderstnad me.
I support you 100%. That's why i'm so harsh on you, because I know you can do better.
Schumer is a bad leader and should be replaced and likely will be. I won't attack him because he can't do any better. He sucks.
But even I would side with Schumer over Trump, because Trump is activly hostile to America. So when it comes time to vote don't be Kain screaming 'Biden old'. Be Havean screaming 'Trump is a dictator paid by Russia.'
It might get a few more people wanting to vote against Trump rather than apathetic people who can't be asked to vote.

I would of course side with Schumer over Trump, I will vote for the worst dem over a Republican.

However, I disagree with you a bit on attacking Schumer. He is going to retire, I think it is important to tell people why he is so bad to better inform them when the primary for his seat comes up. Not because it will change him, he's leaving, but to help people not pick someone like him again.

And here is the thing, I was not screaming "Biden Old" or, really, anything on this board during the election cycle. I made 3 political posts on this board before the election, one of them telling other leftists to direct their energy at getting people to vote blue rather than attacking liberals. I didn't start to attack the dems until after they lost, yet then people extrapolate that to that I always attack them, which is frustrating because it is verifiably untrue.

I agree, when it comes time for the election, we need to focus our efforts on Trump. Hell, we should STILL be focusing our efforts on Trump, which is where my IRL energy is directed considering I live in a conservative area of a blue state.

But we can't get complacent with the democrats as they are because if we do we are going to lose again and this country can't handle that. And that is why I encourage people to get mad at them, I want them to improve.

I hope that the right message is heard and that we have fair elections going forward. It is very regrettable after four years of Trump people wanted more of that. Such a pity.

I think it's pretty standard that threads that have a topic worth discussing are going to be more active than those that don't.

Harris, presuming she runs, will have the ignoble taskand the first I can recall in living memoryof being a failed candidate looking for another kick at the can. And the rest of the field will absolutely *eviscerate* her for every flaw.

There is one very recent example of a losing candidate running again - Trump

Besides Trump, in recent decades losing candidates tend not to throw their hats in the ring again, but in earlier parts of American history it was pretty common. Nixon lost once before winning; Adlai Stevenson lost to Eisenhower twice; William Jennings Bryan quite famously lost three times.
