I don't have a response outside of mentioning the guy I went to high school with who got arrested because he was selling cocaine through the KFC drive thru using the codeword "extra biscuits" and then he got caught when someone legitimately wanted extra biscuits and objected to the price.

Take a bite then spit it out, then say you took a bite unaware there was mold, then say after you took a bite you looked and saw that it was moldy.

Somebody has to be the first of the last of us.

Way back in the early 90's I worked part time at Hardee's while in high school. They used to run the commercial of the old grandmas making biscuits but the truth was it was my 16 and 17 year old ass in there making biscuits at fucking 0345 in the morning to be ready to go at 0500 breakfast for all the retirees that would bum rush the place when opening.

The thing is our biscuits were made fresh on that very day throughout the day. We never saved biscuits overnight into the next day. At the end of breakfast anything not sold was thrown out. We had biscuits in the morning and then when we started making fried chicken at Hardee's we made biscuits all day but they were always made fresh and not too many in advance so they were never more than a few hours old. At the end of the night whatever was left was thrown out.

To get to the point where it was moldy they would have had to have kept this on hand for awhile which is pretty wild.

I reported it to Uber eats hoping I get my money back

If you have a Bojangles theyre better all around. Better chicken, better biscuits, etc. Though they will put white gravy in mashed potatoes unless you ask them not to (which I do).

Technically company policy was everything was marked down on a sheet and supposed to be thrown in the trash. In reality though we ate whatever we wanted and took stuff home because 2 out of our 3 managers were cool. 1 was a stickler and wouldn't allow it but it still happened.

I'd have my friends stop by after we closed and were cleaning up and give them like an entire bucket of chicken and biscuits for free.

Honestly I didn't eat a crazy amount of stuff from there but I did really love breakfast food and would always eat a couple breakfast sandwiches after we ended breakfast.

Also not to be the old man that remembers how prices were cheap from 50 years ago but many people didn't realize back then that the biscuits and gravy meal for 99 cents was all you could eat. So you could keep going back up and getting more biscuits and gravy. Even in that era that was a cheap deal. 99 cents for all you can eat biscuits and gravy was a steal and those biscuits were home made and legit good and the gravy was decent too.

I imagine simply presenting the moldy food to an employee would be enough to get a refund or replacement
