Well, most of it. Missing a side panel and the rest is in questionable shape, but I'll take it!

Not sure what I'll do with it, just built a new desktop so don't need a main PC so thinking:
-Throw in some spare parts and have an unnecessarily gigantic Steam streaming PC for the basement
-Recap the motherboard and gpu it came with and hope they work, toss the psu, add the rest of the parts needed and make a dedicated XP machine.
-Empty it out and use it as a plant terrarium until I actually need a PC case

If I go with a PC route thinking I might finally try out water cooling, figure the airflow in this thing probably isn't ideal and if using older cheaper parts I don't need to be quite as worried about destroying them.
Definitely needs a good deep cleaning first no matter what though...

Was not expecting to see this case when I opened this topic, what a blast from the past! Never owned an Alienware but I remember seeing pictures of this exact case way back when and thinking it looked cool.

Way too into glass at this point to go back to this style but it's a hell of a cool nostalgia piece. Congrats~

Thanks! Not sure exactly why I always loved it, just feels like the iconic Alienware case and color combo and such a 'product of its time' look to it.
Really wanted one back in the day but Alienware desktops were a bit out of my range! I remember max speccing one out on their website and it got up to like $15k or something absurd like that.

And yeah I do love a glass panel too, thinking I might take advantage of the missing side panel and design a quick glass mounting replacement for it.

I was trying to put my finger on what it looked like and you nailed it for me. It's like a Foreman Grill or a sandwich toaster. Only it can do your taxes
