I look at the book rack, actual fucking Chick tracks. I am a Christian, so maybe I am just biased. But no matter how one feels about Christianity, I think it has produced some of the best music in history. Gospel and Choral and some fantastic a cappella stuff. My twin brother and my Mom are not religious at all, and they still play the music. I have a real problem with the government trying to force Christianity on people (something sadly increasingly relevant in 2025). And I would find it off putting to a degree of maybe leaving the store if a salesman was actively trying to preach to me while Im trying to buy something-even as a Christian married to a former chaplain! But background music? I cant see why I would care, other than to find some new music I might want to check out. I wanted to write that I cant imagine being triggered enough by something in the background to make me leave a place, but while posting I remember that I have left places that are blaring Fox News, so I guess I understand.
