I don't think it's woke. But I hear "partner" and I automatically think same sex partner. Probably because that was how it was used during the rise of it. Maybe me still thinking same sex is me being an old man now, I dunno. Perfectly valid word for anyone who prefers to use it. If I were married Id probably use husband/wife but I use partner because Ive been with mine so long that boyfriend/girlfriend doesnt feel adequate anymore. --- Probably the only Mario Maker 2 level I'll ever create worth sharing. 1RT-9RG-QKF ...
