I am using a Galaxy S10, the same one I got like about 2 months after launch. So I got it about 6 years ago?

It has some light damages but nothing too crazy, but mostly the battery life has become hot garbage with all the Android updates.

I just don't wanna buy a new phone cause like, that shit's expensive. Also my current bill, since it's a plan that doesn't exist with my provider anymore, is less than what it would be if I got something similar now.

I hate phones. I do not, and if I can avoid it probably never will have a smart phone. It is not especially old but have a flip phone for when I absolutely need to have one, but use it as little as I can.

Galaxy S9 here. I've been meaning to get a new phone, but I've been lazy about it.

I'm on a Blackberry Key2. Also about 6 years old.

Galaxy S23 Ultra. Got it at launch and I typically upgrade every 3-4 years.

I'm using an iPhone 7.

I held out with a Galaxy S8+ 6 months after it launched up until this past June. The phone was still good but I was starting to lose app support so I finally decided to get a Galaxy S25+.

I still have an S10 as well lol. I only upgrade when I break them and I'm very careful with my phones so I usually skip a few gens before getting a new one. No damage. My battery drains fast to 30% but then is pretty reliable from there. My only problem is the charge port is caked with dust since I've only ever used wireless charging, so if I ever try to use my car charger it freaks out about crap being in the port.

my brother had the 4s for YEARS. It was still working when he got a new one and the only reason he got a new one was for work. He dropped it the lake at the boat ramp when we went fishing once. We searched for like 5 minutes and were going to give up when he finally found it. He left it in a bowl of rice for a day, charged it, and it turned right on. Only issues were the camera no longer worked and he had to use a headset while making calls because the speaker was fubar.

I used an ancient phone for years until literally all but two apps I used simply stopped working. I miss my old phone. Newer phones are too heavy and have a weird form factor. Also, all those new features I thought I might be missing out on just aren't so hot (all the AI garbage is half-baked nonsense).

Got you beat. I'm still wielding a Galaxy S9. It's battery drains like a mother fucker and the usb port barely works so I have a charger stand now but it still works fine otherwise. Don't see a reason to upgrade.

This is cheating because I have never even owned a cell phone. I'm still using the 1980's version AT&T Trimline 210M series landline phone with the green illuminated back to the keys. It's my favorite and most comfortable phone ever to me.

My last phone lasted 6 years
