I've never been stung by most types of wasp only really have to worry about hornets cause they are total dickheads and often build there nest in a hole in the ground so you'll just be walking minding your own business then out of nowhere you're fucking swarmed. Fuck those guys lol.

That's an everyday part of life for me. Around the house. In the garage. In all of the buildings. Under the hood and inside the doors of my truck. It's a neverending issue and I'm allergic to them after getting stung multiple times once after living half of my life without being allergic to them.

Thankfully, I've got a couple of cans of wasp spray at my door already. Mostly to kill spiders with. I hate spiders.

Yep, I used a larger handpump for spraying fertilizer because I was dealing with a ground nest with probably a few hundred wasps but you'll (probably) be fine with a little dinky spray bottle for those smaller paper wasp nests.

Just make sure your bottle actually works before you get in close and preemptively start blasting so that you have droplets already suspended in the air if they decide to attack you. In my experience the wasps never really caught on that I was the one attacking them (guessing the soap overpowers their chemical warning/attack signals).

I have to deal with wasps all the time around here. Every spring and summer I go around the house on a weekly basis and spray wasp nests. Just a few weeks ago I had to spray a nest that had like 10 wasps on it. The nest itself was about the size of a baseball.

I have seen that. My reaction was to leave quickly, get to the store and buy hornet spray and kill them.

knocked down like 5 wasp nests about that size as soon as i open my back door just a couple weeks ago lol

wasps also managed to get into some cracks in the foundation of our house and build a huge hive last fall. there were HUNDREDS that managed to get inside through vents and small unsealed spaces in the window frames etc..... while i was trying to play Silent Hill 2 btw. a propane torch was my weapon of choice
we had to call an exterminator but whatever he did, didnt seem to help the first time so we had to get him again to bomb the foundation and then called the landlord to come seal the crack
that was a fun couple weeks
