just became available on streaming today.

they're doing quite a lot of getting to know the human characters so far. The dinosaurs better be scary later on, since they barely even showed the first one in the research lab(D Rex? We could only see part of its head but it looks like they mixed a TRex with a Dilophosaurus).

I dunno how these characters can hear that the stuff they bring back might be worth trillions and then do a job for only 7 figures.

uh, these characters aren't exactly standard payroll employees

I mean if I heard it might make trillions I would want at least 8 figures

The mosasaur chase looks like the FFX battle against Sin when he chases you on a ship

Tim, to Lex in the first Jurassic Park novel, which the river raft scene is directly lifted from: "yes, he can swim you little idiot!"

The T rex scene was awesome. Easily my favorite part. It looked so big. Also nice to finally see the raft bit from the book.

I wouldn't want to go anywhere near water after seeing the Spinosaurs act like a pack of landsharks

I've never seen this movie so I don't know what direction to take the puns.

Why dont you just sit down and pay full attention to the movie instead of stopping it every few minutes to post your thoughts? You can just say what you thought of it after. Just genuinely curious on why

Idk how I felt about it tbh.

I also don't know why these movies keep trying to push the idea that dinos as a whole will just be uninteresting to humans as quickly as they make it seem. Sure, we would get used to them, and not be as amazed seeing them, but zoos as a concept are quite popular and are some cities' main centerpiece for what to do while you are there. I think there would always be a lot of interest in them, especially with just the fact they are quite large creatures, and it's just something that will always be interesting to some extent.

I also would like Jurassic Park to try to be the leading edge of what dinos look like on the big-screen again for our current understanding. They got too in love with their iconography to change some of the designs, but it'd be nice to see a real attempt at dinosaurs to look like what our current understanding is. You all would be surprised, but the whole feather debacle has been scaled back for many dinosaurs such as the T-rex where many people that the feathers could be light as what peach fuzz is on a human for them or even an elephant. T-rex's are actually much bigger than Rexy's size, they had the best eyesight of any land animal we have ever known, their jaw strength is vastly understated in these movies. Hollywood actually has a chance to create an even scarier T-rex and for some reason, they don't want to do that.

Distortus Rex, an early attempt at hybridization that didn't work out too well.

I liked how the D-Rex moved like something that wasn't all right. Like it may have been dealing with pain due to it's deformities.

I still can't go over the way a few dozen dinosaurs could take over the world in a matter of days (must breed really fast, but it is still absolutely insanely ridiculous) in Fallen Kingdom...

Making things even more wacky, despite being everywhere in Jurassic World: Dominion set a few years later after Fallen Kingdom...by the time of Jusassic World: Rebirth which happens sometime after Dominion, Dinos apparently can only survive in Equatorial regions now despite Climate Change should be helping Dinos spread even further.
