Unfortunately almost all new animation in general looks like flash animation. Classic animation really is a lost art that few people can do anymore. It was really jarring when they did a flashback to the original show for a second and the animation style was so different.

The time consuming part gets me. We had way longer seasons animated at a higher quality, how were they able to pump those out back then but not now?

Anyways I finished the season tonight, it's not perfect but it's really cute! It feels a bit like something between S1-6 and S7-13 KotH.

I got to watch the fucking hulu trailer so I can at least have some opinion. Give me a minute. Eh that was pointless, I'll just stay in this moment for now as well the OG Hulu trailer didn't change my opinion but it seems like they wanted the community to see Peggy giving him some grief so maybe Hank can clap back.

Seven episodes in and I hope we eventually get to see what everybody from the original show that DOESN'T live in the alley is up to. Everything's been focused on the core neighbor group and there's been no update on any of the other characters. You'd think Hank would at least go visit Strickland Propane to see how his old job is doing without him and who's running it now.

Khan's new voice sounds totally wrong. He has aged but somehow sounds younger.

I think that Connie got a little too much hate from some fans overall, but beyond that the 10 episodes were amazing.

I think its because of that scene where she gets mad at Bobby while telling him that she is poly, or something.

Incels on FB getting mad at a character who is written to be confused about what is right for her.

the the arc with Willow would probably have been better if it lasted more than 1.5 episodes.

The show even addresses this

She was in an open relationship since it was a kind of like an arranged marriage highly encouraged by her parents.

I imagine that with the popularity of this new season that Season 15 should arrive a lot quicker while likely being a bit longer (maybe 16 episodes at the minimum).

Season 15 is just the back half of the same 20-episode order that season 14 was a part of.
Season 16 is where wed see any reaction to the revivals success.

I just hope that if we get more seasons, we see more of the side characters from the original run. This felt like it was a bit too contained to the core group and people in their immediate orbit.

We didn't even get an episode where a retired Hank goes to visit Strickland Propane as a customer and gets old-man angry at how the business is operating without him and Buck. Or learning that the business was bought up by Thatherton after Buck's retirement and having to cope with that.
