Paul Dans, the architect of Project 2025, is launching a Senate bid in South Carolina to oust Sen. Lindsey Graham.

Dans is set to announce his Republican primary bid with a formal launch Wednesday in Charleston. Graham is a close Trump ally but has for years faced skepticism from his MAGA allies. He is already facing a challenge from former Lt. Gov. Andre Bauer

Last year, Dans oversaw Project 2025, the right-wing transition plan and policy blueprint that became the focal point of Democratic attacks against President Donald Trump. The project launched with the premise of setting up a future right-wing administration to govern on Day 1 with more preparation and planning than Trump had for his first term, and it included plans to radically restructure the civil service, provide a database of MAGA-inspired hires and offer a wide range of right-wing policy plans.

Graham has been nothing but loyal to Trump for years but because he started off not on Trump's side MAGA will always hate him.

I hate it. Lindsey needs to lose. He simply does. He is not deserving of that seat. He is a pathetic spineless man.

But he's literally better than the alternative. Hope he pulls out a win in the primary and then this new asshole runs third party.

What odds do D's actually have of winning that seat outright?

I know it's not the main point of the topic, but it will never stop being infuriating how the big bad biased media that has it out for Trump still has to try so desperately to sugarcoat things like Project 2025.

Lindsey is a spineless PoS but he is infinitely better than racist P2025 scum.

Sad thing is despite the description I still can't immediately determine whether he's actually worse than Lindsey Graham.

Like, Josh Hawley's in the Senate, and is an outright fascist, but honestly might still have better policies in an overall sense than Lindsey Graham. Graham is both a Bush neocon and Trump troll which is generally worse than just being one of those things.

Do you just not know what Project 2025 is and what it's doing? Like it's painfully obvious what this guy's agenda is and how much worse it is than closeted toady Lindsey Graham. In what world would you think this person would have anything remotely close to "better policies"?

Sure seems like it always does.

Commercials be like "Lindsey Graham claims to be pro Trump, yet he voted to certify the 2020 election. Curious."

On one hand, fuck 'em both.

On the other hand, Graham getting fucked over after he completely twisted himself into a pretzel, ruined multiple relationships, and sold the country down the river all to stay in office would be at least momentarily enjoyable.
