I'm not sure if I ever wanted to be a movie, but now that it's going to be, I'm hoping it's good. people often criticize Stephen King for not knowing how to end his stories, regardless of the overall quality of the narrative, but I liked the ending for this. --- Don't you agree, Zach? https://streamable.com/ueacaz ... I'm usually fine with bad endings but this isn't an execution issue, there really wasn't even an attempt at one in The Stand. Still very much worth a read though. --- If you read this signature, then that meant that I had control of what you read for 5 SECONDS!! ... Copied to Clipboard!

refmon posted... It just hurt too much in The Stand, especially considering the length of the book I never got this criticism of The Stand. If by ending, you mean the final confrontation, (and not, you know, everything that happens afterward), then you should have seen it coming. Upon at least a second read-through, it's foreshadowed pretty fucking hard how it'll all go down. --- My favourite dinosaur is the Triceratops. ... Copied to Clipboard!
