Ive played the game multiple times since it first came out, but never knew that she has different dialogues when you recruit her, depending on if Cloud, Tifa or Cid is leading the team. Makes sense she wouldnt say spikey haired jerk to anyone except Cloud. But at the same time, Ive never waited that long in the game to get her - thats fairly late in the game to be recruiting her.

But yeah, these are the different dialogues she says based on what you get her.

I still remember my first ever playthrough of the game where I missed her as a character. I didn't end up recruiting her until I was on the Round Island obtaining the KOTR materia. Of course, how in the world Yuffie could end up on an island that is only reachable by Gold Chocobo is an interesting riddle indeed.

ummmm wtf? how do i mark her dialogue for deletion?

I also missed her for very long my first playthrough. Which I think the developers tried to avoid happening. Her spawn rates get progressively higher in forests until the forest near Rocket Town where her spawn rate is so high the game is basically begging you to recruit her. But for some reason I thought you weren't supposed to walk through forests on the world map if you could avoid them. I knew things about FF7 before I played so I remember I got to Wutai and wandered around for a while thinking Yuffie must be there because it seems like the kind of place she'd be.

I remember running into her near Fort Condor at one point, not recruiting her successfully due to the dialogue choices, and then just going "eh, whatever"

I missed both yuffie and vincent on my first FF7 playthrough (I eventually just started this save over because I missed so much stuff in general). I was a very derpy 14 year old.

Whenever I replay the game, I hang around the very first forest outside the fort until I get her. She is part of my favorite team.
