It's so obvious these people don't actually read the Bible. They just cherry-pick certain verses, take them out of context and then claim they know God's will. So sad. I wish I could be there when Jesus tells them, "I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoer."

That's the thing with religious organizations - a lot of them call themselves a certain name but you have to look at whom they're actually affiliated with. Anytime you see "independent Baptist" or "non-denominational evangelical" that's when you start sending up some red flags.

Indeed, I remember one lunatic relatively recently from the "Anglican Catholic" Church. Which made all kinds of no sense whatsoever.

So I went and did a bit more digging - this church appears to meet in a strip mall.

And despite being in Indianapolis, they're actually the church plant of a church in Vancouver, WA. How does a church in Vancouver, WA end up planting a satellite church literally *thousands* of miles away? Hell if I know.

To be fair it's not a a normal Baptist Church, it's not even a Southern Baptist Church (did the other Baptists ever let them back in over the slavery disagreement?)

Looks like its leader specifically created it in 2018 to hate the gays.

It really depends on what side of Southern Baptist Convention they are. Really the worst of any of them consider themselves "Fundamentalists". The Southern Baptist Convention itself really wants to get into politics to overturn Obgerfell.
