i did that with switch 1 to buy the super smash bros special edition one and then had to wait a couple months for smash bros to come out. only game i played on it was golf story and then mostly just played my ps4.

had no interest in the swtich 2 yet. it does have donkey kong coming out but i'm not interested enough to spend $600 to get it. i enjoyed mario odyssey but i didn't even really play it and beat it till 2 years ago. i tried it like a year after it came out when i bought it and beat the first world or 2 and then dropped it cause i wasn't really feeling it. it's a good game but definitely found it overrated and i enjoyed 64 way more growing up and the galaxy games more as well.

so i feel like switch 2 still doesn't even have a system seller announced yet for me. mario kart i know does sell a crazy amount of copies since everyone has it but heard more negatives than positives about it and i didn't like the changes from the start. DK i feel like people are calling a system seller more because there's nothing else. only the snes games sold really well. most don't sell all that great. way less than mario games and mario kart. they're on par with the mario & luigi games and the mario sports spinoffs and nobody would call those system sellers. so we'll have to see what the 2nd 3d DK game can do and if it can sell more than DK64 which isn't a high bar since the 64 got killed in sales by ps1

I understand if you dont like Nintendo and have 0 plans to buy the system. You do you.

But it appears the loudest people talking about Nintendo, are the ones desperately trying to convince others to hate it with them.

My only remorse is knowing that Nintendo in their grand wisdom is upping the prices of Switch 1 games in Canada.... again. Breath of the Wild for Switch 1 is 80 CAD. It's probably going to be 90 CAD. I mean... I already own the game, but that really applies to all 1st party titles. And they wonder why people emulate.

Nothing to have buyers remorse with from me... I've been playing Hyrule Warriors and enjoying the uncapped frames for a smoother experience...

Also I have DK Bananza soon and I'm really hyped for it...

Getting one eventually. There's no rush for me.

The Switch 2 has been amazing for me and exactly what I wanted. I cant wait to play Donkey Kong in two weeks, I'm incredibly hyped.

If they are legitimately having fun then good for them.

I don't regret buying my Switch 2

Ignoring the fact that my Switch 1 broke, I've been playing a lot of SF6 so I consider that well worth it

I do regret buying MK World though

Decent game, probably my favorite MK, I should've either bought Cyberpunk 2077 or waited for SF6 S3...

Why's that me. I've been seeing a bunch of stuff across the internet in 'it's been a month, how do you feel about the switch 2' type threads and many people say things like they're bored of the new games and just playing their switch 1 games again they've already played. If that's fun for you fine, I have no idea. It sounds like buyers remorse in some of the posts.

That wasn't a remaster that was a remake and still one of the best looking games on the PS5.

This argument works if you're a nintendo only gamer for whatever reason. PS5 and the series x were the best (and still are) gaming consoles technologically - so yeah even though games were cross gen or whatever, there was a big leap technology wise and you are playing in the best way possible on console playing on PS5 versus PS4 when new games came out.

Getting late ports of games 5+ years old on the switch 2 is not the same. You could've played the same game on better technology years ago.

I will abstain from posting the multiple very lengthy videos on why the art style among other things was so fucked and will merely say that what they did to the soundtrack and in particular Maiden Astraea's theme should be considered a war crime.

Right but I'm saying that comparison isn't really valid - for the people getting tired of demon's souls and miles morales at ps5 launch the way some people are getting bored with mario kart on the switch 2, there was a lot more appeal to the PS5 in terms of new games that the switch 2 doesn't have. Because the PS5 and series x were and still are the best technologically wise and the best way to play new games on console, not just exclusives.

I bought mine because of pressure from Walmart+ making it available again. its still unopened...

People will literally spend >$3000 on a new PC and then go back to playing "Skyrim" (a mod pack with >1000 mods that looks and plays nothing like Skyrim) and still need to render modern games at 900p+upscaling+frame generation+reflex to hit unstable 54fps but we're supposed to have buyer's remorse for dropping $450-$500 for enhanced backwards compatibility with almost all of the Switch 1 library while securing the next 5-8 years of exclusives?

mario kart world on the switch 2 isn't available on any other consoles where as demon souls and miles morales are available on other consolesa like the ps3 and the ps4. hope this helps man

No remorse for me. Having a blast with Rune Factory, Fantasy Life i and Mario Kart World. I actually wish I had more time to play but its been a busy few weeks. Cant wait for Donkey Kong.

Ive got SO many games, and quite a list of ones Ive either never played or have only barely played, that Im fine buying the Switch 2 with only Mario Kart for now. Getting now was basically future-proofing so that Ill have it already when more games start releasing.

Nintendo sucks so what do you expect
