I'm just curious what everyone thinks. Feel free to state which you think is the worst to play as well. Also, the 'canon' choice doesn't matter for what I am asking lol.

Imperial in Oblivion
Nord in Skyrim

I never finished oblivion or skyrim main quests
But I finished it in morrowind. The main plot in morrowind makes most sense if you are a dunmer. The story is heavily focused on dunmer history, culture, politics and religion

I would argue the opposite. Every race that is foreign to the games land is the canon character. Because how does it make any sense at all that this place is your native home yet you have no knowledge of any of it, known by no one from there, and do not own a residents or employment of any kind. It is as if you never existed in this place to begin with. Thus, you are a foreigner.

i just started it the other day and went high elf. wanted to do more of a magic build and figure that would force me to. i forget what i ran the first time i played but one of the warrior classes.
